What we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to reach us about it.
Elevation Events (elevationevents.ca) is operated by Fallsview Group in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Effective date: September 23, 2026.
Elevation Events is the events guide for the Fallsview district of Niagara Falls, operated by Fallsview Group ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can reach us about it.
Our privacy lead is responsible for personal information collected through this website. You can reach them through our Contact page. Mark your message "Privacy" and it will be routed to them.
This policy covers this website only. When you book a hotel room, buy a ticket, or visit a social media page from a link on this site, you leave our website and the other organisation's privacy policy applies.
You choose to give us personal information when you:
We collect this information only when you provide it, and we use it only for the purposes in section 4.
If you submit an event, the event details you provide (name, date, time, venue, category, description and links) may be published on this website if we choose to list the event. Your contact email address is not published. By submitting an event you confirm you have the right to share those details and any images you send us.
Our website is hosted by Webflow. Like every website host, Webflow's servers record standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. This information is used to deliver the site to you, keep it secure and understand aggregate traffic.
We also use analytics and advertising tools that collect information about how you use the site, with your consent where the law requires it:
These tools are provided by Google LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc. and TikTok Technology Canada Inc. and their affiliates, and the information they collect is processed under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give these platforms your name or contact details in readable form.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Cookies are small files placed on your device. This website uses three kinds:
Analytics and advertising cookies run only after you accept them in the cookie notice shown on your first visit, where your province or country requires consent. You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies in your browser, which will show the notice again. You can also opt out directly with the platforms: Google at adssettings.google.com and tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, Meta through the ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, and TikTok through the ad settings in your TikTok account. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies; doing so may affect how the site works.
We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run and promote the website, and only for that purpose:
Form submissions are emailed to our events team and stored in Webflow until deleted. Because these providers operate outside Canada, your personal information may be accessed by authorities in those countries under their laws.
We may also disclose personal information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our guests or the public.
Hotel bookings are completed on the booking website used by the Fallsview Group hotels (exclusiveniagarafalls.com). Ticket purchases are completed on the organiser's or ticket seller's website. Social media links lead to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. We do not control those sites and their privacy policies govern what they collect.
We keep messages and event submissions for up to 24 months after we last correspond with you, then delete them, unless the law requires a longer period or an event listing is still live. Analytics data is kept for up to 26 months. Advertising audience data is kept for the period set on each platform, at most 180 days, after which you drop out of the audience unless you visit again.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access limited to the staff and agency team who need it, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and the security controls of our hosting and advertising providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive financial information through our forms or by email.
You can ask us to:
Reach us through the Contact page. We respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity first. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot answer your enquiry or list your event.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca). Residents of Quebec may also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
This website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 without a parent's or guardian's consent (under 14 for residents of Quebec), and we do not target advertising to children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
If personal information is lost, stolen or accessed without authorisation and there is a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as soon as feasible, and we will keep a record of the incident as the law requires.
We may update this policy from time to time, including when we add or remove an analytics or advertising tool. The effective date at the top tells you when it last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
